Configure Reset, Master Reset and non-reset play
Reset and Master Reset have separate conditions, costs, counters and point policies. A non-reset preset is optional; its presence does not mean it is active.
The outcome to aim for
Reset and Master Reset have separate conditions, costs, counters and point policies. A non-reset preset is optional; its presence does not mean it is active.
Success check: Record level, reset counters, Master counters, stats, points, quest state, skills and money before/after; relog to confirm persistence.
Before you start
Read the complete procedure and its version notes. Record the affected server role and keep an untouched backup outside scanned data folders.
Files you need
One step at a time
- STEP 1
Inspect Command.txt to locate the active Reset and Master Reset command labels and permissions. Keep aliases connected to stable command indexes.
- STEP 2
For each AL tier, configure CommandResetLevel, Money, Limit, StartLevel and Point together. Check day/week/month limits and table-based overrides.
- STEP 3
Decide deliberately whether quests, skills and DL Command points are retained. Do not copy Master Reset settings into Reset keys; they are separate operations.
- STEP 4
Apply /reload command and /reload util when their respective files changed. Test at one level below the requirement, at the requirement, with insufficient Zen and with the expected balance.
- STEP 5
For non-reset play, read Presets/NonResetClassic/Installation.txt first. It can include character defaults and SQL changes; merge intentionally rather than replacing private configuration wholesale.
Progress is saved only in this browser. Completion is your learning record, not proof of a live server change.
Apply the real change
Use the load method stated in the steps for this system. Startup-only settings require a planned restart. The reload finder below shows recorded groups; confirm whether the particular field is startup-only.

Record level, reset counters, Master counters, stats, points, quest state, skills and money before/after; relog to confirm persistence.
If the expected result is missing, restore the backed-up files and repeat the same reload/restart before adding another change.
