MU Helper, offline attack and custom pickup
Helper permissions combine a global switch, account-tier conditions and map permissions. Offline helpers and custom attack are not the same system.
The outcome to aim for
Helper permissions combine a global switch, account-tier conditions and map permissions. Offline helpers and custom attack are not the same system.
Before you start
Read the complete procedure and its version notes. Record the affected server role and keep an untouched backup outside scanned data folders.
Files you need
One step at a time
- STEP 1
Common.ini HelperSwitch and HelperActiveLevel control the basic helper; MapManager Helper can restrict a specific map.
- STEP 2
Custom.ini MuOffHelperEnabled_AL0..AL3 enables offline helper by tier, and MuOffHelperPickUpEnabled controls its pickup permission. Keep its time settings in the units confirmed by the installed implementation.
- STEP 3
CustomAttack parameters configure its duration, delay, potion and buff logic. MapManager CustAtt is a separate map-level permission.
- STEP 4
CustomPickSwitch, tier checks and CustomPick.txt configure custom pickup; MapManager CustPick can restrict its map use.
- STEP 5
Reload the edited common/custom groups. Test start, stop, disconnect, reconnect, time expiry, restricted maps, pickup rules and duplicate sessions.
Progress is saved only in this browser. Completion is your learning record, not proof of a live server change.
Apply the real change
Use the load method stated in the steps for this system. Startup-only settings require a planned restart. The reload finder below shows recorded groups; confirm whether the particular field is startup-only.
Find the file’s reload instructions →Verify the result in game
If the expected result is missing, restore the backed-up files and repeat the same reload/restart before adding another change.
