Player commands, GM permissions and Chinese aliases
The numeric command index is stable; its label can have aliases. Aliases must not bypass the original command’s policy.
The outcome to aim for
The numeric command index is stable; its label can have aliases. Aliases must not bypass the original command’s policy.
Before you start
Read the complete procedure and its version notes. Record the affected server role and keep an untouched backup outside scanned data folders.
Files you need
One step at a time
- STEP 1
Inspect Command.txt for the full row schema before changing activation, access or account requirements. Keep administrator operations restricted to the intended staff.
- STEP 2
CommandAlias.txt contains only a stable command index and a quoted alias, not the policy columns from Command.txt. Save it as UTF-8.
- STEP 3
Different aliases may map to the same index, but one alias must not map to different indexes. Avoid names that collide with another command.
- STEP 4
Use GameMaster.xml for staff authorization according to its schema. Keep account names private and verify the account/character identity before granting privileges.
- STEP 5
Apply /reload command and /reload util as appropriate. Test the English command and Chinese alias with an authorized GM, a normal player and an insufficient-tier account.
Progress is saved only in this browser. Completion is your learning record, not proof of a live server change.
Configuration example
Keep the existing root/sections and unrelated rows. This example is not a complete original or a full replacement file.
# CommandAlias.txt: stable index + quoted alias
35 "/重载"
49 "/兑换码"Apply the real change
Use the load method stated in the steps for this system. Startup-only settings require a planned restart. The reload finder below shows recorded groups; confirm whether the particular field is startup-only.
Find the file’s reload instructions →Verify the result in game
If the expected result is missing, restore the backed-up files and repeat the same reload/restart before adding another change.
